What a ranking grid tells you
One listing, one keyword, multiple search locations. A grid makes local visibility easier to inspect and explain.
What is measured
Each point represents a search from a specific latitude and longitude. The current app records the target listing’s rank up to position 20 and the businesses returned in the local top three. A listing not found in that range is shown as 20+; average rank treats it as 21.
What the visual means
The app uses a schematic grid, not a street map. The client location is in the centre and the top row faces north. Green represents stronger rankings; amber and rust represent lower positions. Point details show the coordinates and competitors.
Comparing changes
Per-point changes compare the previous completed scan for the same client, keyword, grid size and radius. Lower rank numbers are better. Different keywords or scan areas are not interchangeable. Grid centre and listing identity are fixed after scanning begins to preserve comparability.
Limits and accuracy
Results can vary with time, location, personalisation and device. They do not represent every customer’s search, prove the cause of a change or promise an improvement in rankings. RankMosaic is not affiliated with Google.
Current pilot status
All public examples are fictional and labelled as sample data. The live ranking service is still being validated. Requesting access does not trigger a live scan. Availability and applicable service terms will be confirmed before live account activation.
